Final performance! Filmed in 16:9 widescreen. Few obstructions, only in the wide-shots when there are two heads on either side of the frame, but filmer does his/her best to shoot around them. External audio fed into video from MD recorder, so audio is very clear. A mix of close-ups and wider shots when multiple people were on stage to see their interactions. This was a gut-wrenchingly sad performance. Most of the cast members were in tears at some point or another during the show. In particular, Stephanie was sobbing through I Just Might and Allison started sobbing at the end of One of the Boys. A few minor ad-libs and mishaps. One being when Allison pulled out a tape measure during the urinals bit of One of the Boys. The cast was sad but they were clearly trying to have the times of their lives and go out with a bang. And they fed off the audience energy, which was insane and very supportive.

This show is magical, Phillipa is captivating, and the entire ensemble is perfectly quirky. There have been a few changes since Berkeley that tighten up the show a bit and make it ready for Broadway. A near perfect capture with no washout, no obstruction, and just one very quick dropout. It's filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Great wide-shot phone boot of this incredible production from Olney Theatre. A few scenes are a little dark, and tiny bit is missed only on the far right side of the stage (nothing more than about 20 seconds). This cast is absolute fire, and deserves all the accolades and attention theyve gotten from national publications. The inclusion of a large, Black woman playing Belle and having a Beast played by a man with a pegleg without caricature is truly inspiring. The set and costumes are so imaginative and every minute of this show is just a joy. Includes Video, Audio (tracked by MissCeliesPants and untracked), and digital program.

Fantastic 4K capture of this incredible immersive production. I cant say enough good things about this production, but it absolutely lives up to (and exceeds) the hype. Shot well with pretty minimal washout and wandering, no obstructions (although a little bit of the stage is blocked by my jacket for a few minutes in Act 1), and only 2 brief dropouts during applauses. Closing performance of the Chicago tryout. The opening number is pretty shaky due to late audience members. There’s a blackout when Andy is first talking to Emily, and then another in Miranda’s office, both from late arrivals. As usual, some wandering and washout, but overall this is a very solid video with more wideshots than usual. Filmed in 4K, released in 1080p and 4K. Filmed between a couple heads that occasionally got in the way when they leaned toward each other or when the guy lifted his arm to scratch his head - but rarely blocks significant action. A couple drop-outs when people nearby came in late or left early. Camera did not do well with one scene using a lot of blue light, but the rest of the show is beautifully filmed.

NOTES:

A few seconds from the beginning of Act 1 and Act 2 are audio only. Those few seconds from Act 2 are of the young childs doll sitting centre stage, crying, just before they pick it up. Occasionally a head on the left side of the screen is in view. 10 minutes in Act 1 had to be used from a recording from another date due to a theatre related issue causing the show to stop. In that footage there is one brief drop out and heads in frame in the wide shots.I have tried my best to incorporate this footage as seamlessly as possible. Laura is stunning here—absolutely perfect in the role. Jose is fantastic as well, and the two of them have great chemistry, both comedically and romantically.
